By accessing or using Chessonomy, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site or its tools.

These terms apply to the public website, chess analysis tools, puzzle trainer, leaderboard, account dashboard, and any paid plan or related service provided through Chessonomy.

Some features require an account, including saved puzzle progress, dashboard access, leaderboard participation, and paid plan management.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for activity that happens under your account. Contact us if you believe your account has been used without permission.

Chessonomy provides chess analysis, puzzle training, rating estimates, and study material for educational and training purposes.

Engine evaluations, move labels, Elo estimates, puzzle ratings, and training suggestions are informational. They are not guarantees of tournament results, platform ratings, or competitive performance.

Do not abuse, scrape, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or attempt to bypass limits on the service.

Do not use Chessonomy to cheat in live games, violate tournament rules, or break the terms of Chess.com, Lichess, or any other chess platform.

Chessonomy may use or connect with third-party services such as Supabase, Stripe, Google authentication, Chess.com, Lichess, Stockfish, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Chessonomy is an independent platform and is not affiliated with Chess.com or Lichess.

Paid plans, if purchased, are billed through Stripe or another payment provider shown at checkout.

Plan features, prices, renewal periods, and cancellation options are shown before purchase. Unless required by law or stated otherwise at checkout, payments are not automatically refundable after a billing period begins.

You may import, paste, upload, or generate chess-related content such as PGNs, FENs, game references, analysis notes, and puzzle activity.

You keep ownership of your own content. You give Chessonomy permission to process it only as needed to provide, secure, improve, and support the service.

We try to keep Chessonomy useful and available, but the service may change, pause, or experience downtime.

Features can be modified, limited, or removed as the product develops, especially beta, experimental, or free features.

Chessonomy is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not promise that every analysis result, puzzle, imported game, or third-party integration will always be accurate or available.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Chessonomy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

We may update these terms as the product, legal requirements, or business model changes.

When we make material changes, we will update the date on this page. Continued use of Chessonomy after changes means you accept the updated terms.
